Jeremy Hart

Jeremy Hart is Senior Vice President of Portfolio Management at Montford Group, bringing more than 25 years of hotel industry experience, primarily in asset management, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), and operations. In his role, he is responsible for asset management, lender relationships, treasury management, and dispositions across the firm’s portfolio.

Prior to joining Montford Group, Hart spent more than nine years at BRE Hotels & Resorts, a Blackstone-fund-owned hospitality platform, where he led the FP&A team, providing portfolio performance analysis and playing an instrumental role in the acquisitions, due diligence, onboarding, asset management, and disposition efforts across more than 315 full- and select-service hotels—a portfolio with more than $10 billion in total enterprise value generating over $2 billion in annual revenue.

Before joining BRE Hotels, Hart was a key member of the original management team at Extended Stay America (NYSE: STAY), which, prior to its sale to Blackstone for more than $3 billion, was the fastest-growing owner-operated hotel chain in lodging history at 475 hotels. During his tenure there, he held various leadership positions in finance, operations, and revenue management.

Hart holds a BA in History from Dartmouth College.
