Gabriella Ferrel

Gabriella Ferrel is a Project Coordinator at Montford Group, working on the owner’s side of construction and development to keep hospitality and mixed-use projects moving from concept through completion. Her portfolio spans a growing set of active projects across the East Coast, including Sarasota, Jacksonville, Charleston, and Charlotte, where she bridges the gap between ownership, general contractors, architects, interior designers, and consultants.

Day to day, Ferrel works alongside the construction team to manage coordination across active construction and development projects — tracking project milestones, preparing and distributing meeting notes and action items, conducting site visits, supporting document management, and keeping communication flowing across the full project team. She regularly works alongside Marriott and Hilton brand representatives on active projects throughout the portfolio.

Prior to joining Montford Group, Ferrel spent roughly three years as an Office Assistant at PLA Design Studio, supporting an architecture and design firm with scheduling, contract proposal preparation, records management, and administrative coordination across active projects. She also spent about a year as a Nurse Assistant and Sales Assistant at Caring Hands Clinic, managing inventory, assisting with patient care, and supporting the accounting team with financial tracking.

Ferrel holds an A.S. in Business Management with a concentration in Economics from Independence Junior College (2020). “I believe the best way to learn an industry is to be in the middle of it,” she says, “and there’s nowhere I’d rather be than at the table where things get built.”
