Basil Khalidi

Basil Khalidi is an Investment Analyst supporting Montford Group, with more than 1.5 years of experience in real estate financial modeling, underwriting, and investment evaluation across the U.S., the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. His experience spans hospitality, multifamily, residential, industrial, mixed-use, and development opportunities, with a focus on acquisition underwriting, investment analysis, and investor relations.

In his role, Khalidi works across the investment process—from deal sourcing and initial screening through underwriting, financial modeling, investment committee materials, and due diligence support—while also supporting fundraising and investor materials and contributing to the firm’s AI-enabled initiatives and process development. His core expertise lies in building and working with real estate financial models across multiple asset classes, hospitality underwriting, and structuring waterfalls, preferred equity, and debt solutions, along with translating investment processes into practical systems spanning DealCloud architecture, AI workflow automation, and investment reporting.

Khalidi began his career in 2025 as a Financial Analyst, building financial models and supporting underwriting across real estate assignments in the Middle East, Europe, Asia, and the U.S. on projects ranging from approximately $60 million to more than $3 billion in value, including transactions and developments in the Middle East ranging from roughly AED 400 million to AED 3.7 billion. In January 2026, he transitioned into his current role as an Investment Analyst supporting Montford Group through Gallagher & Mohan, where his responsibilities have expanded into financial analysis, investment committee support, transaction diligence, closing coordination, and the development and customization of CRM software and AI-enabled workflows.

Khalidi holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Honors), graduating as a Silver Medalist, and has passed Levels I and II of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) Program.
